2nd Entry, 1242 Hours: While we always have a travel itierary planned on the Half Moon, the reality is that we can only go where the wind and waves will allow us. Today is one of those times when we need to adjust our schedule. The initial plan was to leave the King Marine dock shortly after the Rensselaer students arrived, spending the rest of the day traveling south toward New York Harbor. However, Captain Reynolds has been tracking a massive storm front moving through the midwest. It's pushing lines of westerly winds and heavy rain our way.
