2nd Entry, 1145 Hours: It's uncommon to see pigeons this far out over the water, and in fact it's exceptionally rare for birds of any kind to land on our ship. We believe Walter may have simply needed to rest his wings while commuting from one borough to another. Thoroughly nonplussed by nosy humans, Walter relaxed in the shade for about 15 minutes before continuing on his way toward the Brooklyn shore.
