1st Entry, 0804 Hours: As Day Two of our Voyage of Discovery begins, the Half Moon is still at port at Verplank, NY, no worse for wear. Weather reports predicted that the worst of yesterday's squalls would hit in the middle of night, but it turns out all we got last night was drizzle! Still, better safe than sorry.
